“Fruitful Tree” is a small family operated business in the beautiful town of Ouray, Colorado. Working together as a team, we do what we love: design, work with wood, and create with fibers. We are also raising and homeschooling our 5 children!

After building our cabin in New Mexico with lumber that we sustainably harvested, hauled and milled ourselves, we came over the mountains to Colorado where there is a huge amount of dead trees from beetle kill. We hope to salvage as many of the affected trees as well as other trees in our local urban areas that need to be removed, and help our communities transform them into usable lumber for building projects, furniture or handcrafted woodworks, not just firewood, mulch or landfill material.

We offer a range of milling services, and sell different sizes and species of slabs we have milled. Our Handcrafted Woodworks and our handmade Knits are available at the Ridgway Farmer’s Market during the summer months, at the Purple Peacock in Ouray and online in our Etsy Shop. We take custom orders as well so please Contact us if you have something in mind that we could create for you!

Please check out the rest of our website for more information. We hope to help you with your future projects, with finding just the right gift, or simply inspire you in some way! Please feel free to contact us, we would love to hear from you!

INSPIRE. GRACE. STEWARDSHIP. LIFE

  1. Hi my name is Emily and I just wanted to send you a quick message here instead of calling you. I discovered your Fruitful Tree | Custom Milling, Woodworks and Hand Knits website and noticed you could have a lot more visitors. I have found that the key to running a successful website is making sure the visitors you are getting are interested in your website topic. There is a company that you can get keyword targeted visitors from and they let you try their service for free for 7 days. I managed to get over 300 targeted visitors to day to my site. Check it out here: http://i7n.co/2ck97

  2. Hi, I recently purchased one of the large square wood puzzles. If I recall correctly it was the largest one at the farmers market. However, on accident I lost the instructions. Please via email can you send me them?
